American Girl Tea
Saturday September 26th and Sunday September 27 from 1-4PM
The "American Girl Doll Company" has honored us with allowing and sponsoring the " American Girl Doll Tea" on those two days.
You cannot just ask or just use their doll name in advertising you must apply well in advance and explain how you meet their strict requirements to qualify for being allowed to host a fund raiser the proceeds of which is to be used for charitiable events for children.
Samantha and Nellie will be officially be moving into the museum which resembles Samantha's home in her books but is built of bricks. The museums Samantha, Nellie, Molly, Emily, Nellie and Marisol will be there to greet girls and their favorite dolls and dolls. We look forward to meeting visiting girls of all ages and their dolls
The new "Rebecca Ruben" doll who was donated to be raffled off by the "American Girl" Company will have raffle tickets sold for $1.00. Other American Girl items as well as A Tea for 10 people that can be used for any regular event will be among the other items. There will also be door prizes offered.
The menu will include the Tea menu of Tea sandwiches of Ham,Turkey, Beef, with cheese, and tomatoes, mayo and lettuce, pickles,

Joliet Drama Guild Returns!
On Friday September 18th and Sepember 25th and October 2nd a new Mystery will be returning to the museum. Who will be attending? I have no idea. What person from Joliets past ? we never know. It is always interesting and it is always fun. This play will include a meal of soup, bread, salad final details are now being formulated. It sounds like a great time and a great evening. Make plans now!
